Legacy Ladies

Ellen Nichols

Ooh La La Jewels Du Jour is proud to announce Ellen Nichols as the second Ooh La La Legacy Lady for the 2017 season. Nichols is the founder of New Horizons of Southwest Florida and Super Kids Club. Seeing the problems in the migrant neighborhoods and recognizing the tremendous need to help the children from non-English speaking homes with their school work, Nichols and her family decided to find a place to provide free after school tutoring. In January 2003, the family opened the first Super Kids Club in Rosemary Park in Bonita Springs. Ellen continues that work to this day
